If you know how/if this can be done, can you please post instructions, or a link to where those instructions are? If this is the realm of Adobe After Effects, then so be it, I was simply hoping that PowerDirector may be able to recreate the same thing. I am after the type of motion blur seen in the video I referenced, where the movements *in* the clip are given a blur effect.

I also scanned through numerous videos on YouTube about the PD Motion Blur feature, all of which back my first statement above, none of which demonstrate my desired outcome.

I spent a good couple hours last night playing with the PD Motion Blur feature and no matter what I tried, the settings I used, applying masks, copying video layers with altered opacity, you name it, I was unable to get anything even remotely close to the referenced video. I am aware of the Motion Blur feature for Text and PiP Objects, but these are for the objects as they move along a path. However, I was hoping for something a little more constructive than 'go read the help file'.
